We moved!
After nearly a year of living
in the beautiful Hualalai (Hoo-WAH-Luh-Lī) condo, we have moved to a home just a short way up the road. A lot of you already know, but for those who may not have heard, we needed to move out of our condo quite quickly because someone had decided to buy it. We knew when we initially moved in that this could happen at any point, but the timing of our little place being sold made things just a bit challenging. We are quite excited to report, however, that we are now very happy and settled into our new place.
The Lord has provided a very wonderful new place for us to live…with the Byrds! That’s right, we now live in the Byrd House. The Byrds are an amazing family that we have been getting to know over the past couple of years. Andy and Holly Byrd are an incredible couple, and they have three young kids: Asher is 5, Hadassah is nearly 2, and little Rhema is just 3 weeks old.
When Andy heard we would be needing a place he immediately let us know that a room in their home would be available for rent. After we explored a few other options and considered many, many possibilities we decided that moving in with this great family would be an opportunity we could not pass up! Our time here will be temporary- we’re still not sure how long our stay will be. For now, we are very happy to be here and excited for the time we’ll be spending with this family!

Thanks for the update. I was just thinking it had been awhile since you posted on your darling blog and I was anxious to see pics of your new place. Your master suite looks great – did you paint the dresser? Last I remember, it was white. Love your new digs!! Looks like you have a nice view. Can’t wait to see pictures of the Byrd family. I miss you two very, very, very, very, very, very much. When you have a minute, can you let me know how I can be praying for you in the next few weeks?

I just today got your wedding photo book, it is awesome, beautiful. You both look so happy. Thanks so much for that, I enjoyed it so much and will treasure it, for sure. Wish I could have been there for the wedding.
