We ♥ DTS Equip!

We have just finished our first week of lecture here at Lakeside…and it has been outstanding!

Seriously, the Lord has brought us here for such amazing purpose. We are learning and being trained by incredible leadership. Our hearts are being challenged to pursue deeper relationship with God.

Just to tell you a little bit about our first week, we first heard a rad message from the leader of DTS Equip, Jeremy West, challenging us to be disciples first, always. If we want to disciple and point other people to Christ, we must first be his disciples ourselves. We need to continue growing and learning for our lifetime.

We also got to hear from Kristy Wilke (such an amazing woman of faith) who taught us about prayer and intercession. Her teaching challenged us to constantly ask God if there is anything He wants to speak to us. Another teacher was Ron Smith, who founded the SBS (School of Biblical Studies) course in YWAM and has such an incredible understanding of the Bible. Johnny and I hope to get some time with him and his wife while we are here. So much to learn!!!

Well, there are many more incredible things that have been going on this week. We’ll continue to post about what we’re learning throughout our next few weeks here. We love you, and bless you!
