We Saw a Moose!
Yes, as we drove into Canada for the first time last weekend we had an animal encounter that will not be soon forgotten. Just across the road from us was a glorious MOOSE! I have been wanting to see one all summer; watching and waiting each time I go outdoors. I think that God knew how special this would be, so He orchestrated a perfect meeting for me and the moose. We were able to snap a couple photos at this rendezvous… but we didn’t want to get too close to a creature of such enormity, so we kept a safe distance. Therefore, he looks kind of wimpy in the photo. But I will say that he was quite majestic and very, very big. Enjoy the photo of our friend, the Moose.
Cool that you saw a moose! Though unfortunately the picture makes it look like a pony! Bet it was awesome in the wild though! Have you seen the film Into the Wild (I think thats the title?)
Very smart to keep your distance from that big guy. They can really ruin your whole day if you get too close to them. We love seeing wild life. Hope you get to see more wild life. Keep those pictures coming. Love ya
Sweet kids ~ I have to agree with Liam. It’s hard to believe that Mr. Moose was “majestic” when the distance makes him look like a pony! LOL. However, since God knew you’d like to see one of his glorious creatures – I’m just going to take your word for it and believe he was MUCH bigger than he appeared in the photo (not to scale).
