Week 5?

I find it hard to believe that we are already wrapping up Week 5 of DTS. That just amazes me. Our call2all DTS students arrived in Kona over a month ago, and time has passed at an excessively rapid rate ever since. It would require far too many words to fully express all the things that we’ve experienced in the past five weeks.

God has done so much in all of our hearts as we have gotten to hear from incredibly gifted speakers each week. We’ve had teaching on topics like worldview, missions, the Holy Spirit, lordship, laying down rights, evangelism, etc… So much has been packed into such a short time!

It is often said that DTS is like drinking from a fire hose. There is just so much to take in, so much to try to absorb, and it can feel quite overwhelming at times. But our students are doing great, opening their hearts up wide, wide, w i d e to receive all that God has for them in this time. It’s incredible to watch them gain new understanding about who God is, about His huge, huge love for us, about how we were made to love Him. Nothing compares to this. We get to be part of something remarkable. Something that only God could have dreamt up.

It is with great expectation that we look ahead to the coming weeks… please pray for us and for our entire school as we prepare for Outreach and as we continue to go deeper with the Lord. Thank you everyone for your unending encouragement! We love you!
